With the prices of beef in grocery stores rising daily, we realize that many people are taking to the farms and raising they're own cattle, pigs, or other livestock. We are here to help you get that animal from your farm, to your table.
As a custom exempt plant, we are required for your animal to walk in our facility on its own. Once we receive your animal we hold it in a pen allowing the animal to calm down where it can cause no harm or injury to itself or our employees. Next we move to the actual slaughter of the animal. Once slaughtered we remove all the parts of the animal not fit to eat, hide, head, organs, and then get what's called a carcass weight. This is the weight you will be charged for your processing fee. Once completely dressed and clean we then hang in a cooler for 7 days, unless asked to do otherwise. After hanging the full length of time we then go to cutting and trimming. All beef will be vacuum sealed, this is included in processing fee. Once everything has been vacuum sealed we let it sit in our freezer a day to harden and then notify persons picking up.
If you do not have your own beef/pork we do work with local farmers that can supply good quality livestock for your needs. You can choose to get a full or a half as well. Please let us know if you have any questions.
